Shopping! Shopping!

I love shopping!

It's so much
fun.

Today I woke up early and Dadda played with me while I did my morning stretching exercise. Then Iya and I decided we're going shopping today. I'll tell you later how it was. We plan on buying toys and visiting ooooooozeeee at the Shook today and maybe go visit Tova and the kids. Tova just lost her Dadda last week and he went to shomayim to sleep. See you later, Love Batsheva Malka

Quiet Shabbos

We had a beautiful quiet Shabbos in Efrat with Tamar. Me and Iya had a lot of fun in the jacuzzi we played a lot of water games.

The food was great. I had for the very first time Gefilter Fish. I sat in highChair and ate carrots and sweet potato with Gefilter Fish, and then dadda gave me real Chicken (not from a jar). I had a sippy cup and drank a lot of water from a spooon.

Tamar took me for a long stroll through the parks in Efrat and the air was so nice and breezy. It was like being in Efrat.

After Shabbos we returned to Yerushalayim. Love, Batsheva Malka

Girls Nite Out

Yesterday was a fun day we went all over town running errands. We were in the old city and walked around looking at shops, changing money, eating soup and salad. Then we dropped of dadda at home and he was very tired. Me and Iya went to Bet El to see a play with Hadassah. We had a blast. After the play I couldn't wait to get back in the car and I slept well till we got home and then I played with Dadda and Iya and then went to sleep. Love, Batsheva Malka

Great Shabbos!

We had a wonderful Shabbos. I got to play with Elisha as they were setting up for Shabbos. Rosie helped Iya and Elisha get the room ready for Shabbos. Right as Shabbos started I ate a long pre-shabbos meal and dadda went to the kotel to daven and find some more guest for Shabbos. I surprised him by going for a long nap that turned out to be - turning in for the night. I'm sure they had a great time.

In the morning Dadda told me that he missed me, and I said chudya chudya chudya chudya (what else could I say under the circumstances). Then Iya dressed me in a nice Shabbos outfit and off we went to the fancy shmancy "Quarter Cafe". There was Dadda with tzadik and Rosie setting the tables. Then yossi and Asher came to help too. This was to be the second worldwide kiddush for girls who didn't have a kiddush when they were born.

Digress: Of course I had a huge Kiddush and everyone said "Mazel Tov!" We had a concert by Chaim Dovid, Sharya and some yiddle with a fiddle who is in Israel and needs a shidduch. Know anybody for him?
Then Dadda went to pick up the guest and we packed the house. I counted about 72 people for kiddush. Then every girl poured wine to each other and yelled out "Mazel Tov!" We should be going to a lot of weddings this coming year. This went on until Dadda brought out the HUGE salmon, it must have been long a mile and weighed a ton and a half with a million billions.

Then we ate lunch and I napped and then we took a walk and before you knew it it was all over. The cleaning crew cleaned up and we took Reuven home. He's single too, he needs a shidduch. He's 50 but doesn't look his age. He used to climb the biggest mountains in the United States.

We're getting ready for Shabbos!

This morning we started off with a full schedule in front of us. We have a bar-mitzvah this morning, then we go Shopping for Shabbos and then we have something else later. Oh, I'm sorry to share some bad news but Tova's dad passed away and the family brought him to Israel and they buried him yesterday. I didn't go but Dadda told iya all about it and I overheard.

Shout outs to Swoorly, Braya, and Shayya, hope to see you soon. Chudya chudya chudya dlilli bli bli dli dli dli lilil. Yeah!

Oh What a day!

We traveled all over the Galilee up north and we had a lot of fun. First I started out the trip resting and cooling off, it was the hottest day of the year. Then we started driving up North. The first stop was the bathrooms. I don't understand, why can't everyone wear Luv's diapers like I do. We stopped off to get some more Ice Cold Water. It was really Hot. Dadda snapped a picture of me and Ima, whom I Call Iya, it's easier to pronounce that. Then we kept driving past the water slides in teverya and we went to the Holiday Inn. You see Rebbi Yermiyah of the gemara (talmud) is buried there. Hmmmm.

Then we drove up the block to Rabbi Meir Baal Haness and it was HOT! It was so hot that you could fry eggs on the roof of the car but Dadda didn't want to, he wanted the air conditioner on at full blast.

Then we went to Alma, and Dalton, and Lazer and dadda davened (prayed) for everyone in the world. It was sooooooo HOT! So Dadda after visiting Zimri where I was davening to Hashem, we headed toward the mountains and Rebbi Yosi Haglilee. It was nice and cool so we took some pictures. We saw hundreds of chickens when we left Daulton and went to a park with big slides, and we took more pictures. Lazer took some family shots. We then were heading to Amuka, but we instead went on a very bumpy road up hill and downhill then up again to the most beautiful view in the whole world.
There we went to the cave of Abayai and Rava of the gemara.
Lazer found a tree that was growing from the side of the mountain and he sat down to take a picture. Then we looked at the sunset and went to Amuka. At Amuka we saw cows on the road and in the ladies bathroom, so once again I was hoping Ima would wear one of my Luv's diapers, it would make life so much easier. It was pitch black at Amuka someone forgot to leave a light one. Then we went to Tzfat and ate dinner and visited the Lipshits's new house, BOY does it look big and I surprised them with a gift of my own on their NEW marble floor. It was fun!

Then I was getting kvetchy because I was exhausted so I ate dinner again and went to sleep. Funny thing is, next thing I knew we were back home in Yerushalayim. It was a great day, but it felt better when I was able to get into my own bed. We had a fun day with my oldest brother Lazer.

Trip Day!

Today we are taking my oldest brother Lazer up to Amukah and Tzfat. It's Trip Day! I'll tell you all about it when we return later today. Love, Batsheva Malka

Today was HOT

Today we did a lot of errands that we couldn't do the past nine days. All of Geulah (a big shopping street) was very busy. People were shopping a lot - this must be the biggest crowd I ever saw on Geulah. Bracha, Grandpee and Gitee called today, thank you. Dada was feeling better today he took us out for a long drive and then went to meet with Avigail and her guy she's dating. I went along and spoke to Avigail and gave her some of my dating tips. We laughed and did some girl talk.

Tonight we also went to Hashgacha Pratit, the best steakhouse in town. We had a great day, and now I'm tired so offto bed I go. Sweet dreams.

Last Tisha Bav? Maybe

They tell me as I get older I'll understand more. yet, by the time I get older there won't be a tisha B'av anymore. I prayed today for all the children who will soon be thrown out of their homes that they should try to stay strong and hang tough in these very difficult times.

A full day again!

I spent all day with Momma today, we had so much fun. First we went shopping for mattresses to put on the floor so I can play without cracking my skull on the tiled floor. They look good and I can't wait to play on them. Then Mamma took me to Shmuel Dovid's house, we had loads of fun. First we talked a bit and we laughed a lot. Then we each tried eating key-chains and cows. Then Shmuel Dovid showed me all his teeth - he has so many, I just have one. He then tried giving me a cookie but I refused and told him, "chudya chudya chadya, shulu, szhuluzaya, I only eat spelt cookies" He was okay with it and ate his own cookie. Then we went home and ate dinner and I am soooooo tired, and am now taking a bath while one of my ghost writers is writing all this down. Have a great day.

Working on my Blogs

Editing my Blog!

My ghost writers gave me a chance to do some blogging of my own today so I'm here writinga few words. Today, I discovered a new word "adanya" I'm not sure yet how I plan on using it. When my father was playing ball with me today I began to laugh and sais, "adanya". I guess he thought it meant give me the ball again, really I was trying to just say "adanya". I still have no idea what it means.

I just woke up from a super nap. Got dressed in Shaina's outfit and just did some fooling around on the computer. I watched the space shuttle land in California. One day maybe I will be the first Yerushalmi girl in space, you never know.

The next day we celebrated Rosh Chodesh Menachem-Av we went to the Sphardic Cheder Ochel where we make Shabbat lunch and we had a great time. Yisroel Meir Lipshitz walked in all the way from town and joined us for the seudah.

At shalosh seudos we had special guest; Gitty Samet and her friend Sara. Shabbos ended when my Mama took me to the kotel to hear havdalah. It was a fun Shabbos.

Meeting the Halperns

Today we met the Halpern Family from Atlanta. Seems like they remember me but I don't remember them. I was still in mom's belly when they were in Atlanta. I had a chance to meet with Vered, Chaya and Yocheved the baby; she's cute. I also played with Akiva. We went to the renaissance hotel and we played in the lobby. I was able to pick up some lint from the carpet. I never felt lint before; it has good texture but for some reason my father kept saying, "we don't eat that!" I looked at him for a second or so and then wiped it in my dress. I have no idea why he is so picky about what I put in my mouth. It was a nice visit and I hope we meet again soon.

Chudya, Chudya, Chudya

This past Shabbos I had a chance to spend it with my brother Lazer. My father and mother rented an apartment with A/C in geulah. We don't have A/C at home so it was a cool Shabbos. It was great to see dada home. He slept a lot and we played ball. I learned to pick up the ball with my right hand, put in my left hand, my father would then take the ball from my left hand and gave it back to me into my right hand. We had fun. Mama and I took a lot of long, hot walks with my stroller to friends in the neighberhood. Lazer looks good, I gave him some dating pointers and we played on the mattress in the front room. He has a great smile. Today, I continued to converse using the chudya word over and over, it seems to be a great conversation opener.
