Another GREAT Shabbos

This week we ate at Jeff Seidel's, Friday Night, as Dadda continues to take a break from doing the all -out-wham-bang-Huge-Shabbos meals until Rosh Hashana. It was fun being at someone elses for a meal. I got to play with Elisha and the kidz. I was getting tired so me and Iya went back to the Rova and had a great night sleep.

We stayed in the Air Conditioned Rova Hayehoooodee. Shabbos morning we had about six Orchim (Shabbat Guest) who came to our place where we were staying. We had fun all day. I had the half shifon, half spelt Chalah with no yeast. That was a lot of fun. Dani came over with Josh and I missed seeing Elisha. This coming week we are taking a trip up North and visiting all tzadikim before Rosh Hashana. I'll try and report from up North. Maybe I'll write poolside, wishful thinking. Have a beautiful week.

Free to crawl and snack on nothing

Ok, so now that I'm free to browse the compound, I've noticed some interesting things. I thought the floor was made with lots of little pick-me-ups. You know, things that I can just pick up and put in my mouth to see what it is. Even though my parents 8 eyes are upon me like hawks I still get a chance to sneak in some of these special prizes of the floor. It's so funny watching them sweep the floors so many times, thinking I won't find any of these special little things on the floor.

The other day they thought that they saw me put something in my mouth, rushed over and tried sticking their finger in my mouth to take the thing out. Of course I'm much smarter than them. I kept my lips closed and my 4 teeth clenched. They tried so hard asking me nicely and then with tears, "Please open your mouth!" as if I speak the English language. Then out of nowhere my father starts talking "Chudya" to me. Like, how did he know? Lo and behold he was able to get me to open my mouth and release a small tiny little folded nothing out of my mouth.

See, I faked them out..... I never laughed so much.

WEDNESDAY is Shopping Day

We went shopping for stuff all over and I got to ride in the backseat again. Dadda has suggested a bigger seat for me, but how come they get to sit in a big seat and I a little one. I want to be sitting in a big seat and in the front. We went looking for baby food but in Israel it is very hard finding vegetable baby food. It's fun watching them go from store to store looking for Gerber baby food. They end up buying some good tasting fruit cups for me. I like the plums the best. Then we watched all the hopefuls in the big raffle stand and wish their name was on the list. For all that information, you'll need to read my Dadda's BLOG. Hey, Bracha I met your friends at Center One, I just sent you the picture in the e-mail today. We had fun.

A Quiet Shabbos

We had a beautiful quiet Shabbos in Beitar. Last time we were in beitar with Bracha. I miss Bracha, I wish she would call me more. Anyhoooo, We ate at Tova & Dahveed with all the kiddees. Friday night I was sitting around eating and singing. I slept in a BIG crib Friday night. I got to stand up and play hide and seek with the bed posts. Shabbos morning we lazily laid in bed talking and singing then we met dadda as we both arrived in the front of the house. We ate again at Tova and Dahveed. This time I got a chance to play more and crawl more. All in all it was a fun, quiet and peaceful Shabbos; but I really missed all our guest who come for Shabbos.

So what's the BIG Deal?

My father ran to get his camera yelling, "Did you see, she's standing?!" I was thinking, what's the big deal? I was standing before he caught me trying to get over the boxes, just this time he caught me. Ok, I'm standing, take all your pictures, what happenes now? Do I get to go wherever I want to? I think NOT. I get to crawl around and bump into closed areas. Now I realize that my parents road blocks throughout my floor planned marches around the apartment.

Perhaps, I shall wait untill they fall asleep and crawl out of bed and see if I can get into those places they have locked up for me. First place I'm visiting is under the table. I wonder what is under that table that they block me from getting there with boxes. I'll report to you later.

By the way I'm standing while holding on to things. NO BIG DEAL! I'm just growing UP!

Hey grandpee I'm standing and crawling! Love, Batsheva Malka

The Chase is Over!

FINALLY!

I stopped giving chase to my running nose. It is so exhausting chasing after a running nose. I decided on a new tactic. What I did was, take some homeopathetic flour powder from Dr. Gary and it tastes so good. Thank you Dr. G, Now I can go back to playing with my toys and stop shaking my head from side to side when the nose wiper comes around.

Oh What A BLAST!

This past Shabbos we had soooooooooooooooooo much fun!

Dadda & Iya made a HUGE Shabbat in the Old City of Yerushalayim. Friday night and Shabbos morning we had the usual fun with our many many guest about a billion, trillion, gezillion, chudya, lalalala, oy people. OH! and sooooooooooooo much candy! By Shalosh Seudos we had over 100 girls come from a school to party with us. First Noam the new Yerushalayim Sefardi Phenom sang for the girls and then Dadda told stories about socks or something, then we davened and heard a verrrrrrrrrrrry loooooooooooooong Havdalah. Finaly the moment I was waiting for. dadda surprised the girls by bring in a mini-concert with my favorite singer of all times. CHAIM DOVID came and played a few songs. He's the bestest in the whole world. I love all his music soooooooooooooooo much. Then I went for a stroll while Dadda, Iya and the cleaning crew took care of putting the Shabbos Hall back to normal. We then took pictures with our guest and Reuven was laughing so hard....... Oy I hope he was feeling ok. Then my nose started running so I learned a few new tricks how to wipe my nose in my arms and how to shake my head from side to side wildly so that no-one can wipe away the new sensation of my running nose. Then we went home and I went to take a bath and then to bed. What an awesomes Shabbos! Now we take a break for a few weeks to get ready for my FIRST ever ROSH HASHANNA! What's a Rosh?

Sruli came for Shabbos! yeah

Sruli came for Shabbos. We had a lot of fun playing together. I showed him some new tricks I can do with my almost 3 teeth in. We were in the Rova for Shabbos. We met a lot of new friends and ate a lot of good food. Next week we have a lot of people coming, and Chaim Dovid will play a song or two, I think. On Sunday we went for a tour of the old city and saw a boring movie about old temples. The segals went super sliding in the Rova park, and we had loads of fun.

I can't wait for Shay to come for Succos, and Layzzzzah and Bruchhhhhah to come for a visit too.
I want to see you, come soon. Love, Batsheva Malka
